Customer Expectations

Refund And Cancellation

K2Aley handles deposits, custom parts, parts orders, MARS visits, balances, pickup, delivery, and completed service with written scope and payment notes so both sides know what happens next.

Plain Expectations

Refunds depend on whether work, materials, parts, or travel have already started.

If a quote, invoice, or written service note says something more specific, that written note controls the job.

Before Work

Early Cancellation

If no materials were purchased, no parts were ordered, no print started, no design work began, and no visit was reserved, K2Aley can usually cancel cleanly.

Deposit

Reserved Work

Deposits may hold a service window, cover planning time, start print/design work, or pay for ordered parts and materials.

Custom

Parts And Materials

Custom printed parts, special filament, ordered components, hardware, shipping labels, and design time may not be refundable once started or purchased.

Completed

Finished Service

Completed diagnostics, MARS visits, tune-ups, printed parts, custom design work, and delivered service may be billable even if a device needs more work later.

MARS And Scheduling

Field service needs clear communication.

Reschedule

Give Notice

Customers should contact K2Aley as early as possible if a MARS visit, pickup, drop-off, or delivery time needs to change.

Access

Visit Conditions

If a scheduled visit cannot happen because access, safety, location, printer availability, or customer communication fails, a travel or booking charge may still apply.

Pause

Scope Change

If hidden problems or missing parts appear, K2Aley may pause the job and ask for approval before spending more time or money.

Closeout

Receipt Notes

After payment or completion, K2Aley can send a receipt-style service record showing work notes, payment note, and follow-up links.

Customer Checklist

Before paying a deposit or approving work, check these items.

Approve Clearly

The job should be understandable before money moves.

  • The service path is clear: tune-up, MARS, custom part, filament guide, accessory, repair, or project work.
  • The payment reason is clear: deposit, parts, materials, balance, pickup, delivery, shipping, or completed service.
  • The cancellation risk is clear if custom materials, parts, printing, design, travel, or diagnosis has started.
  • The customer knows how to contact K2Aley if the schedule changes.
  • The customer keeps the quote, invoice request, approval email, payment note, and service receipt together.

Questions Before Paying?

Ask before approving the quote or deposit.

Clear questions up front are easier than fixing confusion after parts are ordered or work begins.
